All LiTROS Innodia drilling and countersinking tools are slotted on the front. The slits make it easier to remove glass dust and also provide sufficient cooling water. In fully automatic machines, they also ensure a certain amount of pressure compensation.

Compared to typical comparison tools, in LiTROS Innodia tools significantly higher diamond concentrations. This enables higher cutting speeds and more drilling rates. In addition, the risk of glass breakage is reduced.

A large part of LiTROS Innodia diamond tools are made of stainless steel, for long-term use under clean working conditions. Already the standard EDS drill for LiTROS Innodia Classic Line are mainly made of brass. The new PRO line is made entirely of stainless steel, including the adjustable sinking rings.
