Cookie policy

Our website uses so called cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website, with the purpose of addressing visitors via remarketing campaigns with online advertising at a later date in the Google advertising network. To place remarketing ads, third parties such as Google use cookies based on a visit to this website. Most cookies are “session cookies,” which are automatically deleted when you leave our site. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. This allows us to recognize your browser the next time you visit. Cookies are only used with your express consent, which you can give when you first visit our website. You can withdraw this consent at any time. As a user, you can regulate the use of cookies by Google and also set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, for example. You can also deactivate the use of cookies in general. If you generally do not allow us to use cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Google Analytics web analysis

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We would like to point out that the Google Analytics code has been extended on this website to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Thanks to anonymization, your IP address is abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted/stored. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google. Your data will only be transferred to third parties due to legal regulations. You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Google Adwords conversion tracking

We use Google's Adwords conversion tracking feature. This allows us to track what happens after a user accesses our ad, e.g. to recognize whether a product is being purchased or subscribed to our newsletter. When you click on our Google ad, a cookie is stored on your device to enable this function. This does not establish a personal reference. You can prevent cookies from being saved for conversion tracking by making appropriate settings in your browser. For more information about conversion tracking, visit https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1722022?hl=de.

  • Social media plugins
We also use social plugins, such as those from the social networks Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, XING. These are often operated in the USA or other countries outside Austria and the EU and are sometimes offered through national companies in the EU.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and use described are primarily marketing measures by the provider and LISEC. Details about this and your rights and settings options to protect your privacy can be viewed directly in the provider's privacy policies in the corresponding sub-section below.
The plug-ins are only used with your express consent, which you can provide when you first visit our website. You can withdraw this consent at any time or use the options described below to deactivate individual or all plug-ins in your web browser.
  • Facebook
We use social plugins from Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” (“Like”) button on our site. When you visit Facebook from our pages, the plugin creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook thus receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook's privacy policy.
  • LinkedIn
We use LinkedIn's “Recommend” button, which you can recognize by the corresponding logo or (“Recommend”). This function is offered by LinkedIn Inc., 1000 West Maude Avenue Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA. When you visit our website, the plugin creates a connection between your respective Internet browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn therefore receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding page of our website. If you click on LinkedIn's “Recommend” button and are logged in to LinkedIn at the same time, you enable LinkedIn to associate your visit to our website with you/your user account. As the provider of our website, however, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data and its use by LinkedIn. For more details about data collection and your rights and settings options, visit http://www.linkedin.com/static?key=privacy_policy&trk=hb_ft_priv.
  • XING
We use the “XING share button.” When you visit the website, your browser connects to the XING AG servers. This provides the share functions (e.g. the display of the counter value). Personal data about you when you access this website will not be stored. In particular, XING does not store any IP addresses. Your usage behavior is also not evaluated. The latest information on data protection with regard to the “share button” and other relevant information can be found at https://www.xing.com/privacy.
  • Instagram Features of the Instagram service are integrated on our website. These functions are offered by Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”), a subsidiary of Meta Platforms Inc. When you visit a page on our website that contains a corresponding plugin (e.g. “Instagram button”, embedded images or videos), a direct connection is established between your browser and Instagram's servers. Instagram receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. If you do not want Instagram to associate your visit to this website with your Instagram user account, please log out of your Instagram user account. For more information, please see Instagram's privacy policy: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy

The provider of this service is X Corp., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you call up a page with an X plugin (e.g. embedded tweets or share buttons), a direct connection to X's servers is established. Your IP address is transmitted and — if you are logged in to X — your visit to our website can be assigned to your user account. Please note that we have no influence on the type and scope of data processing by X. If you would like to avoid such attribution, please log out of your X account before visiting our website. For more information, please see X's privacy policy: https://twitter.com/de/privacy
  • YouTube
Our website uses embedded videos from the YouTube service, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you play an embedded YouTube video, a connection is made to YouTube's servers. This tells YouTube which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube or Google account, YouTube can associate this behavior with your personal profile. We do not receive any information about the content of the transmitted data or its use by YouTube. To avoid attribution, we recommend that you log out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. For more information about YouTube's privacy policy, please visit: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Personal data such as your IP address may be transmitted in the process. We have no influence on the further processing of this data by karriere.at. If you have a user account with karriere.at and do not want careere.at to associate your visit to our website with your profile, please log out first. For more information, please see the career.at privacy policy: https://www.karriere.at/datenschutz
