LiTROS IG Desiccant Automatic S is a fully automated station for filling spacer frame with desiccant. It was developed specifically for insulated glass manufacturing that requires high process reliability, consistent filling quality and short cycle times.
This system combines automatic drilling with the subsequent filling and sealing of the and thus ensures an efficient frame and clean desiccant filling process.

Automatic drilling:

Both sides of the frame are filled with desiccant at the same time, which significantly reduces processing time and improves filling quality.

The desiccant is continuously transported from a 50 kg container to the filling equipment — meaning that no manual refilling is necessary.

After filling, the drill holes are immediately closed with butyl and thus sealed.

Height adjustment
The pneumatic lifting device is used to set the optimum working height — ergonomically and precisely.

Mount the spacer frame
They spacer frame are manually attached to the filling device and automatically positioned correctly.

On the frame handles, she system independently drills the filling holes.

Fill with desiccant
The desiccant is automatically removed from the 50 kg container. Both sides of the frame are filled simultaneously, which ensures homogeneous distribution throughout frame .

Seal the openings
The drill holes are sealed immediately after filling with butyl to securely encapsulate the desiccant.
