The LiTROS IG Edge Deletion Vertical offers a precise solution for edge deletion of coated glass panes. This system removes metallic coatings specifically in the edge zones and thus improves the adhesion of the primary seal. Thanks to integrated extraction ones, the work environment remains clean and process reliability is increased.

Function & procedure

Function
The glass sheet is transported into the system via the servo-controlled belt drive and positioned precisely over the suction axis. The coating head then moves along the glass edge and removes the metal coating in the edge area.

Extraction
During the entire process, the resulting sanding dust is automatically sucked off. This keeps the machine clean and edge deletion ensures uniform insulation glass processing.
